The Department of Business Administration established in 1998 under the School of Management and Business Administration and it was the first Business School in Sylhet region. The Department was initially organized under the supervision of only three teachers with a mission to produce qualified graduates in the field of Business. The Department has now 14 fulltime faculty members and about 450 students. It offers four years BBA and one year MBA program in Business administration with different wings like Accounting, Finance, HRM, Marketing, Management and Management Information System. The Department is famous for its dynamism. This heritage supports the department to be one of the best Departments in the University. The punctuality and hard labor of the faculties in teaching brought the outstanding achievement in the job market for outgoing batches those who have completed their BBA program from this department. Surviving in the global world the department of business administration is striving to produce expert human resources for today’s challenging business world.
